Tunica County Emergency Management officials and the Mississippi Gaming Commission are currently working with all nine casino resorts in an effort to assess flood damage, begin the clean-up process and prepare for facility re-openings. Six of Tunica County’s nine casinos and resorts remain closed. After weeks of rising to historic levels, the Mississippi River is slowly dropping, although not enough to have all of Tunica County casinos reopened just yet.
